SPSS
SPSS is an acronym for Statistical Package for the Social Sciences.
SPSS is a software that is used for editing and analyzing data.
It is said to offer advanced statistical analysis, a vast library for machine learning algorithms and text analysis. SPSS is suitable for projects of all sizes and levels of complexity. It can help an organization find new opportunities, improve efficiency and minimize risk.
An SPSS data file has 2 types of files:
- Data view
- Variable view
The data view shows the data while the variable view shows the metadata(information about meaning of variables and data values) associated with the data.
SPSS contains all statistical tests including multivariate analysis. i.e., T-test, Chi-square, Anova, Correlations, Regression, Non-parametric tests, factor analysis and cluster analysis.
